North Dakota cpa CPE equirementsTo maintain an active CPA license in North Dakota, certified public accountants have to fulfill a CPE requirement on a triennial basis.

North Dakota CPA CPE Requirements

In North Dakota, CPAs need 120 hours of continuing education for every 3-year reporting period.

Specific Requirements

  • At least 20 hours per year
  • Beginning with the reporting period ending June 30, 2022, CPAs need 6 credits of ethics every 3 years
  • Non-resident accountants are exempt from the ND CPE requirements if they verify that they meet the CPE requirements of their residence state, provided they are considered comparable to ND.
