Nevada CPA exam requirementsTo maintain an active CPA license in Nevada, certified public accountants have to fulfill a CPE requirement on a biannual basis.

Nevada CPA CPE Requirements

In Nevada, CPAs need 80 hours of continuing education every 2 years. Furthermore, CPAs must report their credits at the time of license renewal, which also occurs every 2 years.

Specific Requirements

  • The requirement is to be fulfilled within 2 years but licensees should report their CPE hours on an annual basis
  • At least 20 hours per year
  • At least 4 hours in ethics per reporting period
  • If you participate in audits, reviews, compilations, or attestations, you also need at least 8 hours in accounting and auditing subjects
