Hi, future CPA!
It’s almost here! The last quarter of the CPA Exam as we’ve known it for over 20 years, and we’re saying goodbye to BEC. In fact, the last date to register for BEC with NASBA is November 15, 2023.
Per NASBA, “The last day of testing for all current CPA Exam sections (AUD, BEC, FAR, and REG) is December 15, 2023.”
While this sounds like there is almost no time left to study before the deadline, you can reasonably expect to complete 1-2 sections of the current exam before December 15, 2023, if you work hard and start right away.
CPA Exam review courses updated their materials to reflect both the 2023 and 2024 versions. If you start studying for the 2023 exam now, your materials will transition to the 2024 version at the appropriate time (or when you request it, depending on the course).
I personally passed all my CPA Exam sections using Becker, and they are launching a new CPA Evolution-Ready Version to help you with the transition.
If you plan to take BEC this year, I recommend purchasing Becker now, as they offer a BEC Deep Dive supplement to candidates who buy the Pro Course, which is also $1,330 cheaper until September 29, 2023.
