Massachusetts CPA CPE Requirements: Rules and Recommended Courses

To maintain the CPA status, all CPA licensees in Massachusetts have to fulfill a CPA CPE requirement on a biannual basis.

Here is a summary for your reference:

Massachusetts CPA CPE Requirements

CPE credits have to be accumulated on June 30, and the reporting is done every 2 years.

Within these 2 years, CPAs registered in Massachusetts should fulfill at least 80 hours of accounting continuing education, of which all can be self-study courses. You will also need to fulfill 4 hours of ethics courses during this period.

Where Can I Take These Accounting CPE Courses?

My recommendation is Becker CPE. Other CPE courses are available, too.
