Idaho CPA CPE Requirements and Courses

Idaho CPA CPE requirementsTo maintain an active CPA license in Idaho, certified public accountants have to fulfill a CPE requirement on a biennial basis.

Here is a summary for your reference:

Idaho CPA CPE Requirements

CPE credits have to be accumulated during a 2-year reporting period, which ends on January 31.

Within these 2 years, CPAs registered in Idaho should fulfill at least 80 hours of accounting continuing education. Furthermore, CPAs need at least 30 hours every year but a maximum of 50 hours during any given year.

Specific Requirements

  • At least 4 hours of  an ethics course in each reporting period
  • Effective January 2013, licensees can choose their own ethics course (vs the one provided by the ISBA)
