Idaho CPA CPE requirementsTo maintain an active CPA license in Idaho, certified public accountants have to fulfill the CPE requirement on a biennial basis.

Idaho CPA CPE Requirements

The CPE credits have to be accumulated during a reporting period, which ends on Jan 31.

Within these 2 years, the CPAs registered in Idaho should fulfill at least 80 hours of accounting continuing education — at least 30 hours and at most 50 hours at any given year.

Specific Requirements

  • At least 4 hours of  ethics course in each reporting period
  • Effective Jan 2013, licensee can choose their own ethics course (vs the one provided by ISBA)
