Full Comparison of LSAT Prep Courses
#1 Manhattan Prep
Overall Rating: 4 Stars

Manhattan Prep is among the best of the best when it comes to LSAT prep.
All of Manhattan Prep's instructors have scored in the 99% percentile on their LSAT. So, you are in good hands with any of their lecturers.
Also, Manhattan Prep has LSAT options for every budget. From last-minute score boost packages to comprehensive in-person LSAT reviews, you'll find an option that works for you.
What I love most about Manhattan Prep is that it teaches you the LSAT exam content. The instructors approach instruction from tht test writers' perspective. What's more, MP LSAT also explains the "why" behind the concepts and questions.
The quality of Manhattan Prep, plus the elite-level instructors, make this a great course for anyone studying for the LSAT. And if you need a high score, Manhattan Prep is a solid course that can help you get there.
#2 Princeton Review
Overall Rating: 3.75 Stars

If you're ready to gain a fundamental understanding of the LSAT, you're ready for Princeton Review’s online course. The course begins by breaking down each individual section in order to teach you how to approach that section as a whole. Princeton Review then covers each individual question type in each section, creating an effective LSAT study approach.
Princeton Review's course comes with everything you'd expect: high-quality study materials and lessons, effective score analytics tools, a money-back guarantee, and more.
If you're trying to raise your LSAT score from the 140s to the 150s or 150s to the 160s, Princeton Review is a great option for you. This course alone is enough to get you there. And if you want to go from the 140s to 160s or 150s to 170s, this course will make a useful addition to your LSAT review arsenal.
However, I don't recommend the online course for students already scoring in the 160s. Instead, I suggest these students use Princeton Review's in-person tutoring.
#3 LSATMax

Overall Rating: 3.75 Stars
The LSATMax course gives students a solid foundation of understanding for tackling the LSAT. Moreover, this course is fully capable of enabling students to score in the high 150s and 160s.
That said, I'm not entirely convinced about LSATMax's ability to prepare students to score in the 170s. Still, I'm convinced that you must work both hard and smart to score high on the LSAT, and LSATMax will definitely help you work smart.
For example, the score analytics tools found in the LSATMax app let students pinpoint and target their problem areas. All students will profit from this information, but students looking to earn particularly high scores will reap the biggest rewards.
The online course is uncomplicated and easy to use. Even better, it won't distract you from your studies. You can use the message board to discuss your questions with instructors and other students. And you can also set your own pace with the course by speeding up or slowing down the video lessons.
Though it is an online course, LSATMax does send its students hard copy materials, which is advantageous as long as the LSAT remains a pencil and paper test. Additionally, you can stream or download the online course content, which means you can still access your materials when studying without the internet.
If you're looking for an online LSAT course, then I definitely recommend LSATMax. The course is effective, easy to use, and full of features. Finally, the instructors are committed to helping you succeed.
#4 Alpha Score
Overall Rating: 3.75 Stars

The Alpha Score online LSAT course is a convenient storehouse of comprehensive LSAT study tools. Specifically, it supplies students with 61 full-length practice tests, 6,000 LSAT questions, and over 50 video lessons.
So, if you need an introduction to studying for the LSAT that addresses the basics, you'll be pleased with Alpha Score. It explains all the fundamental concepts tested on the LSAT, so you can use it to start your studies and slowly move toward self-study.
In my opinion, Alpha Score is best for students who initially scored in the 130s or 140s and are ready to review until they improve. Once you finish with Alpha Score, you may need to complete some additional LSAT preparations, and you can do so using some of the other courses mentioned on this page.
Alpha Score Discount
#5 Magoosh
Overall Rating: 3 Stars

Of all the LSAT courses on our list, Magoosh's has the lowest price. For ad affordable price, you get 12 months of access, 7000 official LSAT questions, 90 video lessons, and 550 explanation videos. Additionally, you can reach out to the Magoosh instructors via email whenever you need help moving through the lessons.
I believe students with diagnostic scores in the 130s or 140s hoping to score in the 150s will benefit the most from studying with Magoosh. This course offers enough material and quality instruction to help you make that jump.
However, one downside to Magoosh is that many of the questions in their lessons are not real LSAT questions. So, if you're looking to master the exam, Magoosh won't work for you. But if you're trying to score pretty well, you can settle in this area. Magoosh also doesn't supply access to real LSAT exams, but you can easily purchase LSAT exams online at decent prices.
In conclusion, Magoosh is not for everyone. Specifically, it won't cut it for students who intend to earn a score in the 160s or 170s.
