Foreign Credentials Service of America FCSAThe Foreign Credentials Service of America (FCSA) is a private company established in 1987 for the purpose of assisting individuals, corporations, and educational entities in the interpretation and comparative evaluation of international academic credentials. FCSA is NOT a member of NACES.

Note: FCSA is not affiliated with the FACS (Foreign Academic Credentials Service).

Pros and Cons of FCSA

Pros

  • Relatively quick turnaround, but the exact time may vary depending on the workload.
  • Rush-service is available.

Cons

  • Relatively expensive when compared to other foreign credential evaluation services.
  • Original documents are required. There is no exception to this rule.
  • An online application tracking service is not available, but you can get an update via phone, e-mail, or fax.

Submission Details

  • For the CPA Exam and licensing application, documents must be original copies in university-sealed envelopes.

Turnaround Time

  • Approximately 2-3 weeks (10-15 working days), but subject to existing workloads.
  • Rush service: Next-day and 3-working-day services are available.

Pricing

  • Detailed evaluation of coursework: $150
  • Rush service is available for additional fees.
