Stephanie,
I intend to appear for the AUD exams in Jan 2011 and I have a question on the AICPA standards as of June 1,2009 VOL I & II book that I read. With the new format in 2011 will the same books be valid.
Also I use the BISK text for review and they have advised me to buy the new book & CD that will be released by BISK by 2nd week of Oct. Do I have to buy the new book & CD. I understand the simulations will change in 2011 exams for AUD. Please let me know as I am terrribly confused.

Hi Ash,
I understand that while the content change in AUD is not as major as in FAR, there will be additional coverage on IFRS as well as international auditing standard as well. I would think that it’s worth buying the new copies.

The 40th edition has just come out. As of today it costs US$33 at Amazon. Not too bad!
