Becker CPA Review Books are expensive!
That’s why I set up this site to introduce other great CPA exam review courses out there that may also suit your background and learning style.
But if you have decided on Becker, then why not get one with a good discount?
Where To Get Discounted Becker CPA Review Books
1. CPA Exam Forums
You may have visited one of those CPA exam forums. Most of the members are current candidates, but a few continue to hang out there after passing the CPA exam.
You can try to throw in a post and see if anyone is willing to sell their Becker CPA review books to you. If the guy just passed the exam that day, he might just get so excited he’s willing to give out for free!
Three Drawbacks…
Obviously there are limitations to this method:
- The Webmaster Said No. Some CPA exam moderators prohibit buying and selling used text books on their site, especially those with sponsorships from various CPA review course providers.
- You Get No Protection. Assuming you won’t be signing anything legal on this sort of stuff, there is no guarantee that the guy will send you what he has promised.
- A Time Consuming Process. You never know when the materials will be available, if at all. Should you wait? Time to running out for your study!
2. CPAPassmaster.com
This is a Becker reseller who is offering the product at an incredibly cheap price. It is claimed to be authentic with verifiable codes and so on.
While it looks like that some candidates do get benefit from this great deal, I double checked with Becker CPA Review and this is what Becker told me:
“The only legal site for Becker material is www.becker.com.”
I *heard* from industry people that Becker is trying to stop this offering via an injunction (that was July 2010, but the site is still up), and supposedly Becker can render all their materials with serial number from this reseller unverifiable if / when they are allowed to do that.

3. Amazon
Did you know that you can get discounted Becker CPA Review books at Amazon?
Most of the ones up for sale are used books, but you may find some gems here and there if you look carefully.
Obviously, you are still not 100% protected but at least Amazon is a very reliable platform and there are ways to view the seller’s satisfaction ranking and to contact the sellers by email.
Why It Has Been A Hidden Secret
The sellers are typically past students who utilizes Amazon as a channel to sell the books that they no longer need. So understandably they are not demanding too much, which is great news for you!
Because Amazon doesn’t officially sell Becker’s products, the classification is done quite poorly so you’ll have to spend some time to look through it.
Also, be aware that some sellers may not include the CD and others may be missing a booklet or two, but they will include the details in the description.
As long as you read the notes very carefully and email the seller if required, I am sure you can discover treasures. Good luck!

But do you get access to all of the questions and simulations if you buys the used materials?

For Becker used materials, you will have to check with the individual seller. As long as it is within the 12-month period it should work.
